Marvel's Spider-Man Mod Brings the Ending Suit From No Way Home to PS4

In a recent edited video, a fan added the costume at the end of No Way Home to Marvel’s Spider-Man, showcasing the new suit’s metallic blue sheen.

Peter’s new outfit from the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home has been added to Marvel’s Spider-Man in a recent mod. Fans can swing around New York City in a variety of different outfits in Insomniac’s critically praised open-world superhero game, including most of the ones seen in Spidey’s many big-screen escapades. Almost all of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man clothes from the MCU have been included in Marvel’s Spider-Man, with the Black and Gold and Integrated Suits from Spider-Man: No Way Home being added in a recent upgrade to the remastered PS5 edition.

There is one MCU Spider-Man outfit that has yet to be included in Marvel’s Spider-Man, and it is the one worn by Peter at the end of No Way Home. The latest Spider-Man film marks a watershed moment in Peter Parker’s life, as seen by the youthful web-slinger donning a brand-new suit in the final scene of No Way Home. Even though this suit is only shown for a few seconds, fans have praised it for being far more authentic to the iconic red-and-blue outfit from the comics than any of Spidey’s prior MCU costumes, even though Insomniac has yet to declare if or when Peter’s newest silver screen threads will come in the game officially, some fans have used mods to add this new No Way Home Spidey costume to Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Marvel’s Spider-Man fan and Youtuber jedijosh920 recently gave their take on the costume from Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending (via GameRant), sharing a video montage of Spidey swinging through New York in this new outfit, even adding Spider-Man’s MCU theme to the background music in some portions. The suit is based on Spidey’s Classic costume from the beginning of the game, but with a lighter, more metallic blue. The Classic outfit is already quite similar to what fans saw in the No Way Home costume’s brief appearance, while GameRant points out that the chest symbol differs somewhat.

Fans have been wanting Andrew Garfield’s suit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to be included in Marvel’s Spider-Man for quite some time, and the new costume from Spider-Man: No Way Home’s final sequence isn’t the only movie costume missing from Marvel’s Spider-Man. Insomniac may be saving these skins for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is believed to have Symbiote-themed variations of every alternate outfit in honour of Venom’s entrance in Marvel‘s Spider-Man timeline.

It’s difficult to say how accurate jedijosh920’s altered version is because Peter’s new red-and-blue suit can only be seen while the hero is swinging through the air during a dark and snowy night at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Regardless, the suit’s metallic blue shine is a stunning visual in Marvel’s Spider-Man, and it would be a nice addition to the Webhead’s ever-expanding wardrobe in either another free update patch or when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases in 2023.
