Sony has unveiled the games available during the PlayStation Store Black Friday 2021 sale, which will run from November 19 to November 29.
The vast list of games featured in the PlayStation Store’s Black Friday 2021 sale, which begins on Friday, November 19, was disclosed in a post on the PlayStation Blog. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, a slew of shops has already announced their Black Friday specials, both in-store and online. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, for example, will be restocked on November 22 while supplies last, according to Walmart’s Black Friday ad. Best Buy and Target, for example, both shared discounted pricing details for impending game-related sales.
Despite the multiple delays, this year’s gaming has been jam-packed with new releases ranging from must-play indies to lengthy AAA excursions. Things ramped up in the second half of the year, with October proving a particularly busy month for new releases. FIFA 22, Metroid Dread, Far Cry 6, Back 4 Blood, and Crysis’ remastered collection have all been released within the last two weeks. The Dark Pictures Anthology finished the month up House of Ashes, Solar Ash, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. And that’s just for October. Players will, of course, want to keep an eye out for Black Friday offers in the coming days. Fortunately, some of the most anticipated games of 2021 will be discounted on the PlayStation Store.
The titles available in the PS Store’s Black Friday sale are now listed in a PlayStation Blog article that states that the bargains will begin on November 19 and end on November 20. Specific prices have yet to go live at the time of writing, but PS4 and PS5 players should still look at the list because the sale starts tomorrow. Deathloop, Demon’s Souls, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, and Death Stranding Director’s Cut, all PlayStation 5 exclusives, will be discounted soon. Back 4 Blood, Far Cry 6, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, MLB The Show 21, Lost Judgement, Tales of Arise, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy are among the recently released cross-gen titles on the list. Last year’s top games include Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Doom Eternal, Nioh 2, Marvel’s Avengers, Hades, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will be discounted for PlayStation users.
Again, pricing information on these bargains will not be available until the sale begins tomorrow. Discounts on Sony’s PS Plus and PS Now services will be available on Black Friday 2021. It’s also worth mentioning that the PlayStation Gear Store will have its sale, with 20% off clothes, collectibles, and other products, when you apply the BLACKFRIDAY20 code at checkout.
This week’s PlayStation Store deals are the latest in a long line of promotions that the digital storefront has staged this year. Spring sales, summer specials, and Halloween discounts are just a few of the sales events that the shop began in 2021. Black Friday will not be the last, and PlayStation is expected to announce Christmas discounts in December, as is customary.
