Animal Crossing's Design Incorporates A Vacation Home For Villagers

A player in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has created a villager holiday home within a villager vacation home using the new Happy Home DLC.

A clever designer in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has used the game’s recently released paid DLC, ACNH: Happy Home Paradise, to create a farming vacation home inside a vacation home, resulting in a mind-bending build reminiscent of Inception. Following the game’s free 2.0 update, Animal Crossing’s first and last paid DLC was released earlier this month, allowing players to create vacation houses for numerous villagers.

The Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons takes players away from their islands and assigns them to assist new NPCs Niko, Wardell, and Lottie with Paradise Planning. Players can choose whose dream vacation home they build after donning their work uniform, either by selecting a character produced on the beach or by inviting their villagers with souvenir chocolates. More in-game features are available as players construct more homes, and users earn Poki to spend on Wardell’s merchandise. The new content has kept designers busy with a plethora of innovative designs available through ACNH’s DLC.

Redditor Mipsymopsy has taken Happy Home Paradise planning to new heights with their holiday home within a vacation home. In a video, the user shows off their Animal Crossing farm design, including the intricate interior of Tipper’s vacation home. Instead of traditional furnishings, the designer has constructed an entire home exterior within the property, complete with a porch, lighting, and a roof. The home’s outside is cluttered with farming tools and things, with cloudy-sky decor and a wheatfield to complete the impression. On Reddit, the remarkable design has received over 11,000 upvotes at the time of writing.

Hear me out, Tipper… Inside your vacation home… is a SECOND, SMALLER VACATION HOME. from AnimalCrossing

The porch area, which was made utilizing one of the game’s newer objects, the Storefront, found in either Nook’s Cranny or the Paradise Planning office, is perhaps one of the most striking characteristics of the Animal Crossing design. The Storefront is a 2.0 update item, so even if you haven’t bought Happy Home Paradise yet, you can still try your hand at creating a home within a home on your island. The Azumaya Gazebo was utilized for the roof, and the player built around it to complete their aesthetic.

Designing a realistic home within a home has never been done before in Animal Crossing, most likely due to a lack of appropriate supplies. Since the game’s release, players have been using created hats in food and the Simple Panel to create fake buildings to replace missing game goods. Over 9,000 new Animal Crossing components were added in the game’s free 2.0 update to enable users in their creative constructions, including new lighting, walls, flooring, setpieces, and even decorative cars. Thanks to the update, inventive fans have started sharing several fresh and stunning Animal Crossing designs, and this trend doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
