Dr Disrespect, the infamously explosive, recently damaged a controller while playing Halo Infinite, and the game’s aim assist is said to be to fault.
Dr Disrespect, a popular YouTube broadcaster, recently smashed his Xbox controller ruthlessly after being irritated by Halo Infinite’s aim help. Dr Disrespect, Herschel Beahm’s online character, was inexplicably banned from Twitch in June 2020. However, he has since continued to stream on YouTube. To commemorate the franchise’s 20th anniversary, Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer was recently made available for free, attracting the interest of first-person shooter streamers all over the world.
Dr Disrespect has created a name for himself in the video game streaming world thanks to his outspoken demeanour, a series of conflicts, and a large fan base. Dr Disrespect has been involved in several high-profile claims and blunders over his career, including being barred from E3 2019 for recording in a public restroom and being accused of racism. On the other hand, the streaming star’s expulsion from Twitch in 2020, on the other hand, strikes out as exceptional, as the streaming platform has yet to provide a solid cause for kicking Dr Disrespect to the curb. According to speculations, Disrespect negotiated with other platforms behind Twitch’s back, and the flashy streamer just said that he was suing the business for the incident. Dr Disrespect was recently involved in an online debate concerning the usage of controllers against mouse-and-keyboard controls, with Disrespect strongly opposing the use of controllers.
Dr Disrespect (DrDisRespect on YouTube, via Game Rant) recently crushed an Xbox controller during his live while playing Halo Infinite, continuing his ongoing fight with gaming controllers. Throughout the November 22 webcast, he criticized the sci-fi shooter’s weak aim help, which led to his being outpaced in several firefights. Finally, near the end of the stream, the all-star streamer became enraged by a loss and shattered his controller on the floor. It was fully broken, rendering him immobile in the game as he stated, “As fantastic as Halo appears to be, there are a lot of tiny things that are building up…” A malfunction in Halo Infinite has been reported to turn off aim help for players using a controller on PC. Therefore Disrespect may have experienced this issue.
While the unexpected free launch of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has been praised, the game’s player base has been irritated by several bugs since its release. Many series fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the game’s premium cosmetics and Battle Pass system, as most personalization options are locked behind a paywall demanding real-world money. Players in Halo Infinite have also met cheaters, which is disappointing for a game that was only released two weeks ago. Aimbots were also discovered in abundance, providing exploitative players with an unfair advantage over the game’s more honest players.
Breaking a controller during gameplay isn’t surprising, given Dr Disrespect’s well-known propensity for drama. However, it is an example of how aggravating it can be to run into a slew of issues in a brand-new game. If using an Xbox controller on a PC results in the aim above assist disappearance fault, Dr Disrespect’s public anger may help bring attention to this strange bug.
Halo Infinite multiplayer is available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, with a full release scheduled for December 8, 2021.
