Dani Singing Along to the Car Radio in Far Cry 6 Is a Player Favorite Detail

Far Cry 6’s Dani Rojas will sing along with the car radio, performing classic musical hits like “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” according to players.

Far Cry 6 players are enjoying one of the game’s more minor details, in which protagonist Dani Rojas sings along to the car radio while driving through Yara. Far Cry 6 is Ubisoft’s most recent big release, carrying on the series’ tradition of lush, massive environments, memorable villains, and hidden game details.

Far Cry 6 was released earlier this month and has already wowed fans with its meticulous attention to detail. The island of Yara is arguably one of the most realistic and lively playgrounds in the series to date, with near-endless opportunities for exploration and discovery in a dynamic open-world setting. Even though Far Cry 6’s large map was only recently released, players are already finding Easter eggs, references, and other game details hidden within it. For example, a reference to Far Cry 3‘s evil antagonist Vaas was discovered hidden within a Far Cry 6 gameplay trailer ahead of its release, with many more secrets to be found as players progress through the storey.

Dani’s singing abilities, highlighted in a new video by Redditor r4mm3rnz, are a favourite fan detail. The player is seen driving through the streets of Yara with Dani singing along to Ricky Martin’s Livin’ la Vida Loca on the radio. The point may be minor, but it’s one that fans appreciate because it makes Dani feel both realistic and relatable as she gives her all in the performance. Dani has also been known to sing even after getting out of the car, according to players. At the time of writing, the video had nearly 3,000 upvotes, and many Far Cry 6 players had yet to discover Dani’s singing in their own game.

Dani is one of the Far Cry’s most relatable playable characters, and it’s not just because of her incredible singing abilities. Previous games in the series have featured a voiceless protagonist who is also faceless due to the franchise’s first-person gameplay. Some players have complained that these creative decisions have made connecting with other Far Cry heroes difficult. Still, the pivot in the most recent instalment makes Dani’s character even more memorable. In addition, players in Far Cry 6 can play as either a female or male version of Dani, both of whom are fully voiced throughout the game.

Dani isn’t the only one who has left a lasting impression on Far Cry 6 players. With FC6, the series’ antagonist and dictator Antón Castillo, the series’ outlandish and memorable villains have a darker tone. Giancarlo Esposito, best known for his roles in The Mandalorian and Breaking Bad, has brought Castillo to life with his trademark no-nonsense authority, giving the Far Cry series another formidable and unforgettable villain.

Far Cry 6 is available on Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, and PC.
