New World review in-progress

Today may be a big day for MMO fans, as Amazon’s long-awaited game New World is finally out. After various delays, many of us were just wondering if New World would ever see the sunshine of day. Now that the game is finally here, many MMO players can dive in and see if New World has legs or if it’s just getting to be a flash within the pan. I’m one among those players, and that I decided to review New World for SlashGear, but I wanted to require a while to speak about what such a review would entail.

There aren’t any pre-release reviews of the latest World because the servers just went live today. Reviewers are becoming accessible to the game at an equivalent time everyone else is, so we’ll be there playing alongside the day one player and discovering the future of the game.

I’m planning on making this review as holistic as possible; I would like to hide as many various aspects of the game as I can. This includes the levelling process, group content, crafting systems, PvP systems, and – perhaps most significantly – endgame content. There’s an enormous fat interrogation point looming over New World’s endgame with many players wondering if there’s enough content to stay us all engaged, and that I decide to tackle that question in my review.

A comprehensive review of the latest World is some things that are getting to take time. Usually, I don’t wish to write these “review in-progress” articles, but I feel it’s necessary for a game as vast as an MMO like New World to line the right expectations on what I would like to review and the way long it’s getting to take. After all, there are tons to explore, tons to play, and tons to critique.

Keep in mind that folks play MMOs for tons of various reasons, so if I were to rush to the extent cap and write a review that mostly focused, say, on the levelling process, I’d be doing a disservice to those that play the game primarily for the high-level endgame content or those that want to understand about PvP.

So, with a desire to play the game as extensively as I can before I write a review, we’re watching an extended timeline than usual. I’m unsure how long it’ll take, but it’s getting to be a minimum of a few weeks before a review is prepared. It could even be longer than that because I don’t know exactly what I’m certain of. Though I did participate in one among the betas, I ended early because I knew I wanted to review New World at launch. I didn’t want what I experienced within the beta to influence my review of the ultimate game too heavily.

To make an extended story short: ITechBrand is reviewing New World, and I’m getting to attempt to make that review as comprehensive as possible but meaning an extended wait than usual. In the meantime, I’ll be looking to write down some shorter features about the game, so keep an eye fixed out for those within the coming days and weeks!
