There is a sizable market for technology that can help you sleep better. Smart beds (like Sleep Number) and smart mattresses (like Ghost SmartBed’s 3D Matrix) abound, but the audio is unquestionably one of the hottest areas for goods to help you sleep better. While several large audio businesses, such as Bose, provide gadgets that help people sleep better, others are putting their hearts and souls into ensuring that everyone has a decent night’s sleep.

Kokoon is one of these companies, and its Nightbuds are comfortable Bluetooth earbuds that let you drift off to sleep with ambient or binaural recordings, audiobooks, or your favourite music. Kukoon has now unveiled additional features to improve your sleep quality, even more, claiming that their new algorithm employs artificial intelligence (AI) to provide deeper analysis to assist you to obtain more slumber at night.

Using artificial intelligence to help you get a better night’s sleep

The earbuds from Kukoon have important sensors that monitor your sleep, including an infrared light that detects your heart rate while you’re wearing them. This information is given to the user through the MyKokoon phone app, which has been updated to include new capabilities.

To begin with, Kokoon claims that the app’s algorithm now employs AI to measure data better precisely. It will use AI to diversity the information displayed on the MyKokoon app and provide customised advice depending on the app’s data.

MyKokoon will now share your sleep data with Apple‘s Health Kit APIs, allowing it to be paired with data from other devices such as the Apple Watch and shown holistically in the iOS Health app. Finally, while Kokoon already incorporates Spotify and Audible with automated bookmarking and fading when it detects you’ve gone asleep, it will now support Calm. Features that will help you sleep better in the future

Kokoon is working on adding a suite of features to improve your sleeping experience in addition to these. Smart schedules that automatically identify your natural circadian cycle and wake you up with a smart alarm when you are sleeping lightly are among the operating features. You can wake up fresh and jubilant by listening to music or listening to a podcast instead of an obnoxious doorbell.

Improved algorithms will also provide you with options to help you fall back asleep fast if you wake up in the middle of the night. Finally, the data will be used to assign you a chronotype (as defined by the Sleep Foundation) based on your sleep-wake cycles, so you can not only get a good night’s sleep inside your cocoon but also benefit from it to achieve great physical and mental health as well as highly creative energy while working.
