There are many other methods worth trying, but I won’t list all of them here, like check whether your Xfinity account is up-to-date or not and check whether your IP address is correct.

All in all, you’ll probably find a minimum of one among the above solutions which will fix your issues. If, unluckily, none of the above solutions fixes the Xfinity wifi connected. Still, with no Internet access problems, you’ll troubleshoot your Xfinity network or check for your local Comcast outages to ascertain whether your Internet Service Provider is completed or not. Of course, if there’s an outage in your area, there’s nothing you’ll do but await the network to return.

    User Questions:

    1. Why does my Xfinity wifi say connected but no Internet?

If your Xfinity wifi says “Connected, but no Internet”, it means your device is connected to your router/modem but can’t access the web due to a faulty router, DNS issues, IP address issues, or filled cache storage on your device.

    1. wifi devices show “connected, no internet” (wired connection unstable too)

I posted this in response to someone else’s issue but figured I should raise my very own issue here since I’m unable to talk w/ an Xfinity employee thanks to COVID19 work from home issues at Xfinity.

My wifi connections frequently show that my devices (phones, tablets, laptops) are “connected, but no internet”. Gateway restart temporarily fixes the difficulty. The online diagnostic tool tells me that something is wrong, impacting my internet experience and offers to restart the gateway.

    3. Xfinity wifi displays connected but no internet access

I discovered that somebody unplugged the Xfinity box. I plugged it copy, and it seemed fine. The wifi is connected, but it says no internet access. It says this on the laptop, also as a Samsung tablet. It shows full bars, but there’s no internet access. the most plug that goes into the wall was unplugged from the Xfinity box. Therefore, the net gear router was turned off. I do not know much about electronics, so please forgive the improper terms.

    4. Xfinity wifi connected but no wifi connection

This issue has been happening for the past three months and is simply recent, but basically, it shows that im connected to our home internet. On the other hand, like a minimum of a few times each day, it might randomly lose connection, albeit indicated on top that wifi is connected. It seems to get on my device specifically because, on other devices around the house, there’s doesnt seem to be a problem. Ive had done most of the troubleshooting steps and had a technician are available and swap the modem. He did say that space was pretty far away from the modem, but this is often only a recent issue as ive been perfectly fine with the connection for the web the past year ive been using Xfinity.

    5. Unable to attach to public wifi hotspot “xfinitywifi” or “XFINITY.”

I recently switched to Comcast Business, but I cannot attach to the general public wifi networks with any of my devices.
