In early August, we shared the news that Minecraft Dungeons was lined up as a Nintendo Switch Online free trial in Japan, representing the newest status arrival on the service. That trial has now led to Japan, but Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that the spin-off is heading to its territory in the week, on 18th August.
As with all of those trials, if you are a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber, you will be ready to download the complete game and play it free of charge every week.

It seems pretty likely that an equivalent trial will arrive in North America, but we’ll keep an eye fixed out for confirmation.
