Animal Crossing: New Horizons Recreates the Guardian Battle from BOTW

With goods from 2.0, an Animal Crossing player recreated the guardian battle that destroyed Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The guardian combat from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been replicated by an Animal Crossing: New Horizons gamer. One of the most memorable scenes in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the guardian combat.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, fans have recreated BotW in various ways. This involves recreating game locations such as Tarrey Town and Kakariko Village. The variety of things in the game and the ability to terraform allow for such realistic recreations of these locations, which reflects in the beauty of these recreations.

Reddit user Naydinfar-Crossing has rebuilt the remains of the guardian battle at Fort Hateno using various techniques, adding to the growing number of Breath of the Wild recreations. Many things, such as the vine seats, moss-covered boulders, and rusted swords, are from the 2.0 update. The guardians themselves are represented by special garments made in their likeness, and the ancient atmosphere from the conflict 100 years ago is successfully recreated thanks to these objects.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update brought a ton of new furnishings for players to decorate with. Over 9,000 new objects are believed to have been introduced in the Animal Crossing 2.0 update. This covers the castle objects that were used in the guardian war reenactment. While many new furniture items may be found in Nook’s Cranny, some can be found in the Happy Home Paradise DLC, which allows players to trade poki for special furniture.

The new components added in the 2.0 version provide a limitless amount of creative possibilities in décor, as this replica demonstrates. The base game of Animal Crossing: New Horizons didn’t have as many decoration pieces to deal with. As a result, a common complaint was that the number of furniture available made many islands appear the same. This has subsequently improved substantially due to the abundance of new furniture and crafting resources, such as moss and vines, becoming available. It would take a long time to collect all of the new stuff accessible if one wanted to do so. However, gathering these new objects would be worthwhile to create surroundings like these, which is why Animal Crossing: New Horizons required the 2.0 upgrade so much.

The Nintendo Switch version of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available.
