Samsung is working on the Galaxy Watch 4, according to some reports. Android Headlines leaks render of one model and give us a glimpse at the prototype.
The company will also launch a classic Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, aside from the Galaxy Watch 4 Active. Both models will be running the One UI-based Wear experience that Google co-developed, but the Classic model is aimed at a wider audience than the Active model.
Android Headlines reports the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be available in three sizes and three colors. Customers will have the option of choosing from a 42mm, 44mm, or 46mm size. This is in addition to the sleek design and rotating bezel. The Watch 4 Classic is available in three colors: black, gray, or white.
This will be available in stainless steel or aluminum versions, according to Samsung. These will be covered with Gorilla Glass DX and DX+, depending on whether they are made of steel or aluminum. The product will also be 5ATM-rated for pool and shower use, just like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 with MIL-STD-810G certification.
Samsung will announce the new Galaxy Watch 4 models during the Unpacked event in August. They will be the first to receive the latest Wear OS update. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G are also expected to be released by Samsung at the Unpacked event.
