Restart your device: Sometimes, just restarting your device can solve the difficulty. So, why not do this once. To restart your device:

  • Unlock the screen of the devices.
  • Press and hold the “Power” button until a menu appears.
  • Select “Power off. “
  • Wait for the device to power off.
  • Wait 10 seconds, then press and hold the “Power” button to power the device back ON.
  • After that, attempt to download the app again. it’s going to solve your error problem.

Methods to Fix Error Code: -2 in Google Play Store?

 Method 1: Clear Cache and Data of Play Store

  • Go to Setting >> Go to Application Setting (In some devices, the application setting is known as Apps).
  • Go to, All the apps > >Find the Google Play Store>> Clear Cache and Data
  • Once you’ve got cleared everything. Next, you would like to Force Stop the appliance.
  • Now, Restart your device and check out to download the app.

Clearing Cache and Data of Google Play Store is that the major solution for nearly all quiet errors. This could fix your issue. If you’re still getting the Error, try method 2.

Method 2: Clear Cache and Data of Some more Apps

  • Go to Setting >> Go to Application Setting (In some devices, the application setting is known as Apps).
  • Go to, All the apps > >Find the Google Play Service >> Clear Cache and Data
  • Once you’ve got cleared everything. Next, you would like to Force Stop the appliance.
  • Similarly, Find the Google Services Framework >> Clear Cache and Data
  • Also, Find Download Manager >> Clear Cache and data 
  • Now, Restart your device and check out to download the app.

Method 3: Upgrade or Downgrade Google Play Store Updates
