Forza Horizon 5 Live-Action Trailer Sells Mexico Map's Variety

Microsoft and Playground Games released a new live-action trailer for Forza Horizon 5, showing the game’s Mexican locations.

In anticipation of the highly anticipated racing Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft and Playground Games have published a new live-action trailer highlighting the game’s Mexican locations. Additionally, in honor of the Day of the Dead festival, Microsoft is giving away a unique Dia de Los Muertos-inspired livery for Forza Horizon 5 as well as a special custom-designed Xbox One X. The giveaway is a collaboration with actor Xolo Mariduea of Cobra Kai fame, as well as several other artists that assisted in the creation of the livery and Xbox console designs.

Forza Horizon 5 is planned to debut next week, and it will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on launch day. The game will join a slew of other high-profile titles that will launch in November on the service. This includes It Takes Two, a co-op adventure game, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, both of which will be added to Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks. Football Manager 2022, Unpacking, and One Step from Eden will join them.

Forza Horizon 5 has received a new live-action teaser, displaying the numerous places available in the Mexico setting. The ‘The Getaway Driver’ Xbox video features locations from all around Central America as it follows a getaway driver on a high-speed journey. The action-packed trailer features a range of jumps and thrilling manoeuvres, giving players a decent indication of the types of landscapes they’ll encounter when playing the new racing game.

To commemorate the open-world racer’s gold status, Microsft and Playground Games released the whole soundtrack for Forza Horizon 5 in October. There will be various radio stations in the game that will play the music that has been specifically chosen to fit the Mexican scenario. Local and international artists such as Dua Lipa, Jungle, Sad Alex, and Sotomayor contribute to the soundtrack, which adds a lot of rhythm and flavor to the environment of Forza 5.

With only a few days until Forza Horizon 5, fans can expect more trailers and promotional material. Microsoft will likely want the racing brand to perform well as the holiday season approaches, as it is one of the company’s most popular and successful first-party titles.

Forza Horizon 5 will be released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on November 5, 2021.
