Zuck Wishes America a Happy Birthday in the Most Cursed Way Possible

This is what I saw, and you have to see it. Of course, it will appear as if it were one of those deepfake videos. But I swear, it’s the crucial deal.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg decided to celebrate the Fourth of July instead of roasting hot dogs and watching fireworks. So instead, he posted a video of himself surfing with an American flag while John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” soundtrack played in the background. Why? Because of AMERICA.

This video is the latest in a series of bizarre PR moments by ol’ Zuck. He shared videos last month of him firing arrows at bowling pins and throwing spears at wooden targets (shown here, so you can fully appreciate how cool he looks).

The billionaire seems to have been much more cautious with his sunscreen use, as opposed to the photo of him applying an excessive amount of sunscreen when he was out on a foiling adventure. Later, he claimed that he was trying to fool the paparazzi by applying all that SPF to him because surely turning a paler color of white would make him unrecognizable.

“Happy July Fourth!” Zuckerberg wrote the caption to the Instagram video.

Social media responses are often summarized in one word: Why?

One Twitter user wrote, “I wish they could bring John Denver back into life with great care. He could sue Mark Zuckerberg.”

Another wrote, “Someone told Mark Zuckerberg that he should act completely normal for July Fourth.” This was my first thought. How can a person appear more robotic on video than in photos?
