NetApp Excellerator Showcases AI and EdTech Pioneers from 13th Cohort

NetApp Excellerator Reveals New Batch of 13 Cohort Startups

The NetApp Excellerator marked its 13th cohort graduation where eight deep-tech startups catering to industries such as AI, edtech, MLOps etc were featured. At the Demo Day, the founders demonstrated their ideas to investors, mentors, and other professionals and shared a rich list of groundbreaking technologies to the audience.

Such startups as LEGO AI, Calibr, Pipeshift, and Enkrypt AI represent new benchmarks in their industries. For example, Pipeshift produces a managed platform aimed to assist companies to effectively train, deploy and manage large language models (LLMs). At the same time, CLIKA is refining the machine learning models to perform better, on the other hand, Enkrypt AI is working on increasing the security and the visibility for GenAI apps.

The NetApp Excellerator is an enabler to facilitate GenAI adoption and enable enterprises to leverage this disruptive technology. This group was a perfect blend of both AI and cloud integration, which was consistent with the observation of the NetApp 2024 Cloud Complexity study, where India was identified to be a leader in AI, with 70% of the organizations in the country already working on AI projects.

According to Vasanthi Ramesh, the Managing Director and VP of Engineering at NetApp India, the NetApp Excellerator is aimed at supporting the activity of startups and promoting cooperation in the development of innovative solutions. Since its founding seven years ago, the program has successfully guided startups, assisted the companies in understanding the complexities of the technology world, and assisted the companies in using data to increase efficiency and effectiveness for sustainable success. Cohort 13 Startups have applied this mentorship to advance the utilization of AI and offer innovative solutions in numerous sectors.

Started in 2017, the NetApp Excellerator program has earned its place as one of the top five accelerator programs in India, thanks to its PoC model that provides a way for startups to showcase the real-life effectiveness of their solutions. Many of the startup founders have been able to polish their MVPs, build meaningful market statistics, and fund more than $380M in total.

It has taken time and consistent guidance and support for NetApp Excellerator to emerge as a significant constituent of the deep-tech ecosystem that encourages innovation, development, and technology disruption.
