Apple also revealed details about the iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 Pro Max today after the iPhone 13. The iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro share many similarities, but the iPhone 13 Pro takes things one step further. Apple began its presentation about the iPhone 13 Pro with a discussion about its design and new display.
Apple claims that the iPhone 13 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max will use Super Retina XDR panels. The 13 Pro Max has a 6.1-inch screen, while the 13 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display. Both phones will have 1,000 nits peak outdoor brightness and support the ProMotion variable refreshing rate. This allows the display to switch between refresh rates of 10Hz to 120Hz depending upon what the user is doing.
Like the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini, both phones will be powered by the A15 Bionic CPU. The 13 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max will have a 3-lens array of cameras on the back. This includes ultra-wide, telephoto and wide cameras. The phones will be the first to support macro photography. This feature is also included in the other iPhone 13s, including Night Mode, Cinematic Mode, and other features.
Apple has packed these phones with larger batteries. Although Apple didn’t give any details about the expected battery life of the iPhone 13 Pro, it did state that the iPhone 13 Pro Max would last approximately 1.5 hours more than the iPhone 12 Pro Max on a full charger, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max might last as long as 2.5 hours.
