Apple is always trying to improve the security and privacy of iOS 15 and every subsequent version. Nevertheless, it’s a significant step forward in privacy, thanks to iCloud Private Relay or Hides My Email features.

This guide will give MacRumors readers an overview of all the new privacy and security features in iOS 15.

iCloud+

Apple also introduced iOS 15 and a new iCloud+ services. This adds extra features to paid iCloud accounts. Prices start at $0.99 per monthly. Apple offers three options: a $0.99/month iCloud service that adds 50GB storage; a $2.99/month iCloud program that adds 200GB storage; and a $9.99/month iCloud service that adds 2TB storage.

As an incentive, all three plans include iCloud+ features to encourage people to upgrade to iCloud. In addition, iCloud+ includes iCloud Private Relay and Hide My E-mail and support for additional HomeKit Secure Videos cameras.

The $0.99 plan supports one HomeKit Secure Video Camera, while the 200GB plan supports five HomeKit Secure Video Cameras. The 2TB plan helps unlimited HomeKit Secure Video Cameras. The 200GB plan was previously for one camera, while the 2TB plan supported five.

You can also create a custom email domain using iCloud+. This is an alternative to the iCloud Mail address. If you already have an iCloud Mail address, this hidden feature will allow you to create a custom email domain name.
