In Multiple Locations, Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp are huge down with the social networks, and messaging platforms are offline for users. The network outage began earlier this morning (US Eastern Time).
Attempts to load:
- Facebook in the browser – DNS error.
- Instagram – feed can’t be refreshed.
- Whatsapp – Unable to message.
These errors are unusual, but this time many get this error. The official Facebook service page is also down. Users are unable to know how long it might be taken to returns.
Downdetector is an internet tracking service website. Many users started submitting outage repots around 11:30 am.
Facebook representative Andy Stone confirmed the outage on Twitter. There is a problem with Facebook that the company is “working to solve the issues as quick as possible, and apologize for any inconvenience.”
We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

The outage comes a day after a blockbuster interview with Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen. Unfortunately, Facebook has downplayed the significance of the whistleblower’s documents. In recent years, social media is the big impact on society, and Facebook takes place where much of this debate plays out.
Cyberattack on Facebook
Issues not caused by a cyberattack Because Facebook has many applications, the single hack cannot affect all the applications. and this year, many websites are offline beacuse of Content Delivery Networks(CDN) Crash like amazon, google and New York Times.
