ASUS revealed a set of the latest laptops in the week with creators in mind. Designers and illustrators that’ve used ASUS ScreenPad in any laptop over the past few years will find the expanded space and features appearing appealing with the newest release. Then there’s the ASUS Dial, an actual physical dial control that’ll appear first within the high-end ASUS ProArt Studio book Pro 16 OLED (and yes, the word “pro” is therein the device’s title twice).
ASUS ProArt Studiobook PRO 16 OLED
The ASUS ProArt Studio book Pro 16 OLED includes the new ASUS Dial. ASUS suggests that with the Dial, a 16-inch 4K OLED HDR 16:10 display with up to Intel Xeon processor and NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics, the ProArt Studio book Pro 16 OLED is “simply the simplest creator laptop we’ve ever made.” This machine features a 16-inch 4K OLED HDR display (3840 x 2400 pixel resolution) with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and up to 550 nits peak brightness.
This laptop features a 3-button touchpad, also as touchpad stylus support. It doesn’t have a touchscreen. This model will be made available for purchase in North America starting within the fourth quarter of the year for a price of roughly USD 2500 (model W5600/W7600).
