OnePlus 12 update includes improving the AI photography and the new AI notes tools.
Recently, OnePlus has released the OnePlus 12 OxygenOS 15 update  that is rich in features meant to improve the smartphone experience. As usual, after the Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update that was released earlier this month, the update includes a number of new AI features that were previously teased but not in the first update.
Features Related to Photography Enabled with Artificial Intelligence
Camera lovers will love the new OnePlus 12 update that brings several AI features to the table to boost photography. The most prominent tool is AI Retouch, which can enhance and restore the picture by making it clearer, enlarging the cropped or taken from a distance images. Another useful tool is the Unblur Feature which is aimed at restoring some lost details, colours and lighting in the blurring images and thus make the images more refined. Also, the Remove Reflections Tool is introduced and users can remove unwanted reflections on glasses such as windows to make photos look more professional and clear.
AI Notes for Wiser Note Taking
The OnePlus 12 update OxygenOS 15 update  also brings a new AI Notes feature in the Notes app as well. This tool is useful in that it can change a piece of text to make it larger or smaller in order to help with organization of notes. The Format Feature added feature aids users to reorganise small pieces of information found in documents into a neat and presentable format which in turn enhances note taking. In addition, the new Clean Up Feature erases filler words from the voice notes and retains all the rest of the audio, which makes voice notes shorter and clearer.
Further System Improvement
In addition to the photography and note-taking features, the new update OxygenOS 15 update  of the OnePlus 12 consists of multiple alterations in the system. Live Photos compatibility has been enhanced and, as such, the users will share them more frequently with iOS devices. Bluetooth connection has been made more stable in order to provide more reliable connections, and the Floating Contact Window gives the users easy access to contacts without having to leave the current activity. It also introduces a new Boarding Pass Recognition that automatically indexes and collects boarding passes in the Photos app. For those who like their app folders more structured, the update also supports 3 × 3 icon arrangements, which means more control over which apps are where.

Since security is always a concern, the OnePlus 12 arrives at the update in November 2024 and increases system security, fixing possible threats. These updates guarantee that the users of the devices can have a secure and more fluent performance.
