Downdetector is an internet tracking service website. Many users started submitting outage repots around 11:30 am.

Facebook representative Andy Stone confirmed the outage on Twitter. There is a problem with Facebook that the company is “working to solve the issues as quick as possible, and apologize for any inconvenience.”

The outage comes a day after a blockbuster interview with Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen. Unfortunately, Facebook has downplayed the significance of the whistleblower’s documents.
