Samsung is reportedly cracking down on leaks, especially people who allegedly use copyrighted material. It seems, however, that the corporate sometimes also have problems coming from its backyard therein regard. For example, it’s commonplace for companies’ social media outlets to accidentally stumble and publish information before their official announcement. That was seemingly the case when Samsung’s own Instagram account posted an almost mundane image that happened to incorporate a preview of the Galaxy S21 FE.

The image doesn’t reveal anything new about the upcoming smartphone, a minimum of nothing yet. It only shows the phone’s rear, which is, of course, the only distinctive part of any smartphone. The only telltale sign that this isn’t any of the prevailing Galaxy S21 models is that the camera bump is within the very same colour because of the remainder of the backplate.

Perhaps the more important part of the leak is the indisputable fact that the Galaxy S21 FE does exist, a minimum of in form, albeit not yet in name only. Samsung has never officially acknowledged the existence of another Fan Edition, but the very fact that it suddenly pulled out the Instagram post suggests it’s the important deal. Fortunately, SamMobile already saved the image for posterity.

Based on leaks and rumours, the Galaxy S21 FE is predicted to be a good version of the flagship series that doesn’t skimp on the Snapdragon 888 5G processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz screen. It will, however, reportedly sport an equivalent triple camera setup because of the Galaxy S20 FE from last year. In addition, it’ll be running Android 11 out of the box, no matter when it launches.

The existence way forward for the Galaxy S21 FE has always been in flux and can remain so until Samsung announces the device. It’s been reported to possess been delayed and almost cancelled thanks to the continued global semiconductor shortage. Production, however, was said to possess finally resumed last month, suggesting a launch date no before October.
