Intel kicked off this season’s virtual Computex by declaring two fresh 11th Gen U-Series processors for use in lean, lightweight notebooks. Additionally, it unveiled its original 5G M.two module for notebooks, made in a partnership with MediaTek (Intel marketed its own smartphone business to Apple in 2019).
Both of Intel’s newest processors possess Intel Irix Xe pictures. The flagship model is that the Core i7-1195G7, which has a foundation clock rate, will be currently 2.9 GHz but can reach up to 5.0 GHz to a single-center utilizing Intel’s Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology. Another processor, known as the Core i5-1155G7, includes a base clock rate of 2.5GHzm plus a maximum of 4.5GHz. Both processors have four cores and eight threads.
The 5G M.two module, known as the “5G Option 5000,” supports 5G NR mid-band, sub-6GHz frequencies, and eSIM technology. Intel has partnerships with telecoms from North America, EMEA, APAC, Japan, and Australia. The module is expected to maintain notebooks made by Acer, ASUS, HP, and other producers after the calendar year, and OEMs will also be working on 250 layouts according to 11th Gen U-Series processors, expected to reach the marketplace by the vacations.
